The Refugee Voices

Through the Afya Foundation, Students for Refugees got involved with the response to the Ukrainian crisis by collecting humanitarian items and first aid kits for those fleeing Ukraine to neighboring countries. Once we collected boxes of items donated from our classmates, I volunteered at Afya multiple times to help sort and pack the items for shipment to Ukraine. Afya does this on a continual basis to help those in need of medical and humanitarian items, especially needed right now in Ukraine.
